To perform actuarial modeling and analytical functions while working closely with other functional units to help Management ensure the company's financial well-being and provide support in the achievement of business targets.以拼音方式閱讀

1 - Actuarial Modeling
• Ensure timely preparation of model runs and outputs needed for monthly valuation and planning/forecast exercises.
• Apply the following framework:

o AIFRS, for analysis of profit

o AIFRS, for dividend recommendation and crediting rates study

o PFRS and GPV, for statutory earnings and local reserves reporting
• Manage relevant work streams and coordinate the delivery of information and reports with the Group reporting teams.
• Initiate model validation and model changes (if needed) based on the Local Model Governance Policy
• Prophet models including data inputs from difference stakeholder
• Timely and accurate delivery of model run
• Analyses include adequate reasoning and insight on movement of key metrics (policy information, reserves, profits)
• Timely delivery of key messages and recommendations to reporting teams based on work output
• UAT signoff, Model enhancement request, etc.
• Systems dependencies for policy data; accuracy and timeliness of accounting information
• Managing work plans (with IT, Accounting, Investment, KL Actuarial Shared Services, Group, etc.)
• Prepare deliverables to local management committees

2 - Model Governance
• Ensure that valuation models are properly developed, maintained, and documented, with appropriate governance
• Ensure proper documentation of all valuation methodology used
• Ensure updated local, regulatory and AXA Group frameworks are followed
• Ensure continuous improvement of process, including process optimization and automation

3 - Financial business analysis
• Provide support in analyzing the performance of the company based on sound information to help the company improve performance and achieve set targets.
• Ensure that the team prepares accurate and timely ad-hoc model runs (e.g., Analysis of Change) to support the baseline reporting figures.
•• Prophet models including data inputs from difference stakeholder
• Creation of a common database to properly document KPIs and other key indicators of competing companies.
•• Collection of relevant data and potential limitations on existing systems to apply proposed strategies.
• AXA Group computational analysis requirements may be potentially not applicable to local business and hence may need to utilize proxies to be able to provide results comparable to other AXA entities

4 - Support team and local business units
• Reviews and discuss business implications of reports with own team for broader appreciation of work
• Provides guidance to own team for continuous career development
• Provides actuarial support to various functional units and Management Committees of the company
• Figures / reports requested by other unit
• Insights to the decisions of the various units and Committees of the company
• Dependency on the data from other departments (i.e. IT, Financial Control and Accounting, Distribution Channels, etc.)

Educational Qualifications

Relevant Experience
• Graduate of BS Mathematics, BS Accountancy, BS Statistics, or other related course
• Associate of a recognized actuarial society (ASP, SOA), or close to becoming an associate
• At least five (5) years experience in life insurance, preferably in actuarial valuation
