Group Capital Management Actuary - Bermuda (Star8786) job

Are you a qualified life actuary, looking for an international career opportunity?

Then this is a significant chance to take the next step in your career ladder, joining a leading reinsurer on the beautiful island of Bermuda, where you will play a key role in supporting capital management of the in-force business, integration of new transactions and Group strategic initiatives/projects.

In this key role, you will perform the actuarial review of due diligence, integrating actuarial aspects of new transactions into the reporting process.

Working closely with the investment team, you will support the ALM process, assessing hedging effectiveness and investment data requirements to support actuarial calculations.

In addition, you will support updates to and the development of Group methodologies, including Economic Balance Sheet, Accounting and Embedded Value.

To be successful in the role, you will possess strong Solvency II experience, including application of the Solvency II framework, standard formula, QRT and ORSA.

Working knowledge of either the UK GAAP or IFRS accounting basis also required.

Bermudan EBS knowledge preferred.
