Let's connect: If you want to experience how things are done in the Analytics and Longevity - Data Analytics team at our headquarters in Hannover/Germany, join us on a temporary basis for 24 months commencing as soon as possible as a Data Scientist Experience Analyses.

You can look forward to

You take on considerable individual responsibility as part of a modern and agile team. In this context you are responsible for analysing the experience of reinsurance treaties for global markets, with a focus on Asian markets.
  • Analysis, assumption derivation and assumption validation of existing inventories
  • Assisting with the pricing of new business
  • Further refining statistical and stochastic models and methods
  • Supporting the optimisation of infrastructure and process automation
  • Collaborating with our international branches on diverse and exciting data science projects


You come equipped with

  • Passion and enthusiasm for data science, actuarial analysis & international cooperation
  • Master's degree in mathematics, physics, computer science, statistics, data science or a comparable academic discipline
  • In-depth knowledge of statistics and data science
  • Basic knowledge of actuarial mathematics
  • Knowledge of a higher programming language (e.g. R, Python)
  • Independent user skills in German and Englisch (level B2), ideally also knowledge of Asian languages (e.g. Chinese)
  • Willingness to go on occasional business trips
