About the job:

The function of Python Developer supports underwriting in technical decision making by providing high quality tools and services to meet their analytical needs. This includes the provision of Pricing models, Portfolio analytics and Actuarial advice. The team has around 20 enthusiastic individuals with a diverse skill set ranging from highly technical data engineers and model developers to experienced actuaries with strong insurance domain knowledge.

Your Tasks:
• Maintaining and improving pricing models using hyperexponential Renew, a Python-based pricing model framework.
• Engaging with key stakeholders, including senior actuaries and underwriters, fostering open and active communication.
• Demonstrating proactive problem-solving, supporting team members, and seeking assistance when necessary.
• Constructing and maintaining our E2E test framework in conjunction with other automation processes.
• Writing SQL queries to extract data from our database.

About you:

Experience Required:
• 2+ years of experience as a Python developer
Your Skills:
• Strong experience as a Python developer with knowledge of SQL and the software development lifecycle
• Understanding of API development and issue identification
• Excellent communication skills
• High attention to detail alongside great time management.
Nice to have:
• Experience in DevOps
• Development of Power BI dashboards
• Experience working in agile environment
