Strongly committed to social responsibility, Wakam is a mission-driven company dedicated to "enabling transparent and impactful insurance". • The Mission You will report to the Reserving squad of the Wakam Underwriting Office, whose main tasks are to : Carry out technical/actuarial analyses to improve the robustness of quarterly reserving evaluations Prepare, analyse and check Best Estimate calculations for the economic balance sheet and Solvency 2 reporting purposes Participate in monthly monitoring of technical indicators (frequencies, average costs, IBNR consumption rates, etc.) Help improve provisioning processes and tools Validate the quality of the data used for calculations ☆ The Profile we are looking at 5 years' higher education: Actuary, Mathematics, Statistics or Econometrics A minimum of 5 years' experience in non-life insurance reserving is required Proficiency in SAS, R and SQL query and modeling languages Fluency in English Your working mindset : Ability to analyse and synthetise Good interpersonal skills for teamwork, but also autonomous and able to work independently Be methodical, rigorous and articulate when presenting results You are looking to join a modern, dynamic scale-up company, in an environment that will give you the opportunity to work directly with all business lines, while applying actuarial methodologies.
