ASEC is an international team that delivers actuarial systems used by Aviva business units around the world. Team is mainly focused on maintenance and development of in-house built models that support calculation of Solvency Capital Requirement and IFRS17. What will you be doing? ALS Prophet coding will be the sole responsibility of this role. Lead the design of code changes to customer facing applications subject to code standards. Create and maintain appropriate documentation of the code, in line with EUC frameworks. Drive forward changes and implement automation. Be comfortable with agile development and working to short timescales. Responsible for technical estimates of changes. Ensure testing is completed in all environments and platform teams have a suitable technical point of contact. Implementation and documentation of coding solutions and decisions will be required to ensure product owner / user expectations are met. What we're looking for? Experienced and adaptable code knowledge. A good understanding of modern code development practices. Ability to work and test tasks through to completion. Ability to work in an agile way. Work in a cross functional team together to meet business objectives. Background in ALS Prophet system would be a strong asset With profit products knowledge Good critical thinking and proven problem-solving abilities. Experience and track record will be considered in place of specific qualifications, coding qualifications preferred.
