Job Description Job Type: Permanent Location: This role could be based in either our Wythall or Telford offices with time spent working in the office and at home. Flexible working: All of our roles are open to part-time, job-share and other types of flexibility. The role The Actuarial Planning Manager will be part of our Actuarial Reporting Operations team and will support the delivery of change impacting Life Finance. Ensuring that the change management process is controlled, co-ordinated and operated effectively across the complex integrated Finance Architecture while maintaining the integrity of our technology and business processes. In this role you will be responsible for the management and tracking of the End to End Actuarial Reporting function plan including critical BAU activity, change activity and ad-hoc reporting requests. This will mean working closely with team managers and customers to build out the necessary detail of reporting requirements in conjunction with resourcing demand and supply. You will ensure the functional plan is fit for purpose and managed through a controlled process that can be adapted for an evolving operating model. You will provide regular and appropriate MI on planning status, as well as reporting on risks and issues including impact to resourcing demand and execute efficient prioritisation exercises. You will work across a wide range of stakeholders to resolve conflicts and manage expectations on delivery timescales. What are we looking for? We are looking for an individual with excellent planning and co-ordination skills, keen attention to detail and a positive can-do approach to be able to drive the organisation across the team. You will be a relationship builder, Who can build collaborative and effective relationships with a wide range of stakeholders at all levels to support the build of an effective plan. A Proactive approach and experience around plan management process will be really helpful in our environment, if this previous experience and skills were gained within an actuarial reporting function, this would also be beneficial.
