Overview

Pacific Retirement Services (PRS), a non-profit leader in the senior living/hospitality industry, is seeking a highly skilled team-oriented Financial Analyst I to join our team. This full-time position will be based out of our home office in Medford, Oregon.

What you'll be doing:

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing in-depth analysis of key metrics utilized by our communities, facilitating comparative assessments between various communities. Your role will involve preparing comprehensive financial schedules, reports, and analyses to aid management in decision-making processes. Additionally, you will develop reports and analyses to assess financial and operational outcomes, enabling stakeholders to leverage data effectively for performance enhancement. You will play a crucial part in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements by timely submission of reports such as Payroll Base Journal (PBJ) report, Medicare recertification, and Medicaid cost reports. Your duties will extend to maintaining meticulous records, supporting data, and assisting in the preparation of market comparisons and feasibility studies. Furthermore, you will contribute to strategic planning efforts through insightful analysis. The maintenance of analytical reporting systems like ERP, EHR, POS, and Actuary will also fall within your purview. Flexibility and a readiness to fulfill any other assigned duties or requirements will be integral to your success in this role.

About you:
  • Minimum of two (2) years' experience in accounting, finance or a related field.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience with Workday Financials or similar ERP.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including MS Excel, and computerized accounting systems.
  • Strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), business contracts, best practices in accounting, and other outside reporting principles and regulations.
  • Experience with Workday Financials is a plus.

Compensation: $65,280 - $81,200 / annually DOE
