Senior Manager, Health Business Solutions, Greater China Life & Health Munich Re Beijing Branch, part of Munich Re, the world's largest reinsurer, is seeking talented individuals for the roles of Health Solutions Manager to join our team in Beijing. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing our health reinsurance business, driving growth, and achieving profit targets by engaging with clients and addressing their critical needs.

The position is based in Beijing and reports to Head of Health. Greater China Life & Health. Company Munich Re Location Beijing , Greater China

YOUR ROLE
  • Lead negotiations and secure acceptance of health reinsurance business in accordance with company pricing and underwriting standards.
  • Provide comprehensive client service, including managing client requests, preparing quotations and treaty documents, gathering market intelligence and client information, and overseeing reinsurance accounts and financial results.
  • Manage key accounts and serve as the primary contact, leading major business development initiatives and conducting in-depth consulting projects.
  • Conduct research on market developments, changes in client needs, emerging threats and opportunities, and external best practices to enhance our service capability and quality.
  • Participate in local marketing activities and industry functions to promote Munich Re Life & Health as the premier reinsurer with unparalleled local knowledge.

YOUR PROFILE
  • Bachelor's degree in business, economics, actuarial science, finance, or a related field.
  • Qualified actuary (FSA, FIA, or equivalent) is preferred, with a minimum of 8 years experiences in the health insurance sector.
  • Substantial experience in product development, risk management, and financial analysis.
  • Proficiency in client relationship management and project/process management.
  • Demonstrated technical competence and management experience in an international setting.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, negotiation, and deal completion skills.
  • Strong abilities in fostering teamwork and effectively delegating tasks
  • Fluency in both spoken and written English and Mandarin.
