Job Description: Being Senior Actuarial Analyst/Actuarial Analyst/Actuarial Assistant in Actuarial Services department, the incumbent is primarily responsible for providing actuarial support on IFRS 17 financial reporting, capital and risk reporting, method and assumption changes, experience studies and monitoring. During the off-quarter end period, the incumbent will also participate in various actuarial projects including but not limited to IFRS 17 financial optimization, financial reporting process improvement, control enhancement and actuarial/stochastic modelling support. . Responsibilities Support IFRS 17 Financial Reporting Support Capital and Risk Reporting Quantifications and actuarial modelling support on method and assumption changes Perform experience studies and monitoring Support other actuarial projects and business initiatives as assigned Requirement University Graduate in Actuarial Science or related discipline Good progressing in actuarial exams 0-5 years of experience in life insurance industry Strong technical knowledge in financial reporting areas Knowledge in IFRS 17/HKRBC is preferred Experience in Moody's Axis is a plus Experience in stochastic modelling is a plus Knowledge in actuarial modelling Excellent verbal and written communication skills on both English and Chinese Ability to apply complex concepts to solve business problems Strong analytical and problem solving skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines Take ownership and can work independently with minimal supervision Demonstrate initiative, commitment and responsibility as a team member We offer 5-day work, attractive salary, MPF, group life and group medical insurance; and excellent career development opportunities to the right candidate.
