As the Vice President, Stable Value, you will be responsible for Empower's stable value product business within the Great-West Investments organization.

What you will do:

  • Responsible for developing, managing, and executing against Empower's stable value business plan.
  • Lead product development, product management, and contract administration effort for general account, separate account, and synthetic stable value product lines.
  • Partner with key business leaders across the organization to ensure that product shelf meets the market needs across Empower's business segments.
  • Collaborate with Investment Team, Marketing Team, Legal/Contracts Teams, and other shared service organizations to drive execution against our business plan and initiatives.
  • Maintain close working relationships with Great-West Investments Actuarial and Risk Team, Distribution and Service Team, and Investment Products Team
  • Develop and articulates the strategy and plan for the business across
  • Lead and develop the stable value team at Empower.
  • Organize and lead meetings related to business lines comprised of Committees of senior leadership from across the organization.
  • Serve a key representative from Empower in external sales and client relationship meetings.
  • Manage budgeted expense targets for the team.


What you will bring:

  • Bachelors degree in finance, actuarial science, or related field required. Masters degree preferred
  • Minimum 10+ years experience in the stable value space.
  • Insurance license
  • Demonstrated ability managing highly successful teams.


What will set you apart:

  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Must have strong communication and presentation skills and ability to work effectively with all levels of management and staff.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal, team-oriented, organizational, leadership and project management skills.
  • Must have demonstrable detailed knowledge of stable value products, features, nuances, and industry trends.
  • Approximately 25% travel required

Base Salary Range
$179,700.00 - $260,625.00

The salary range above shows the typical minimum to maximum base salary range for this position in the location listed. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation offered may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
