Description
Location: Singapore, Singapore, Singapore Earnings: Competitive The Role: This position will involve providing essential support to our Energy & Short Tail teams. In this role, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to collaborate closely with various key functions including Underwriting Support Services, Credit Control, Finance, Claims, Actuarial, and Risk & Compliance, ensuring seamless coordination and efficiency across departments. The individual will be responsible for monitoring the accuracy and timeliness of data entry into the system. Responsibilities will include: Provide business and administrative support to the Energy and Short Tail underwriters such as: Track and log new business submissions Monitor renewal status Ensure data accuracy in internal pricing tools and reporting systems Review slips and contract wordings Ensure post-bind accuracy and maintain digitally stored underwriting files Ensure compliance with sanctions, contract certainty and ESG framework Work with credit control team to address discrepancies in payment and ensure prompt payment Support the Energy Team with risk analysis, risk reporting and risk presentation Skills and experience: University graduate with a minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience related in Financial Services Proficient in problem-solving and quantitative skills including advanced knowledge of MS Excel and Powerpoint Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively liaise and work with individuals from diverse backgrounds Demonstrated commitment to deliver high quality output within specified timeliness About Canopius Canopius is a global specialty lines (re)insurer.
