Working Arrangement Hybrid Job Description The Opportunity The customer is the focus of everything we do, and millions of end users rely on our products and services daily. We believe in the value of empowering our Director/Senior Director, Chief Actuary's Office with the resources to enhance and achieve our business performance objectives for the future of our business, which is why we need you. The Hong Kong Corporate Actuarial acts as financial management hub, providing professional advices and services to senior management in the state-of-the-art actuarial areas across IFRS17 valuation reporting and analysis, Hong Kong RBC capital valuation and management, business planning and forecasting, participating business and reinsurance management, as well as statutory financial reporting duties to the regulators. Reporting to the Hong Kong Chief Actuary, this role is heading the Chief Actuary's office, accountable for leading the statutory reporting, reinsurance management, and actuarial project. He or she will also be a member of the senior actuaries leadership team. What motivates you?
We are looking for someone with: - University Degree holder - Professional actuarial qualifications. - At minimum 10 years' experience in insurance relevant industry. - Solid actuarial knowledge and experience in valuation and financial reporting. - Strong technical, analytical and problem solving skills - Strong project management skills, being able to drive things forward - Strong communication, presentation and influencing skills - Team leader who good at coaching and inspiring people - Able to manage to work flexibly under dynamic business environment - Effective command of English, both spoken and written - Experience in Hong Kong statutory reporting an asset, yet not a must - Experience in AXIS actuarial modeling an asset, yet not a must On the job you will:
