Our Investment Reporting team is expanding and we're looking for a Senior Investment Change Specialist to join us in this venture. The role would be suitable for someone who has experience in the field of investment reporting and has worked on finance-related projects, is an excellent communicator with strong relationship management capabilities, and would like to further develop in this area.

The Investment Reporting team provides a number of critical services to the Aviva Markets in respect of the c£400bn of investment assets held by the market legal entities. Core services performed by the team include the daily validation and enrichment of investment data needed by the markets in respect of the investment assets held; provision of data to key stakeholders (actuarial, ALM, CIO, tax etc); performing relevant Statutory & Regulatory Reporting on the investments (IFRS reporting and disclosures, Solvency II QRTs etc); performing Credit Risk Reporting; performing Independent Price Validation in line with PRA requirements; and managing a change stack in respect of investments where they relate to the services being provided. The team also acts as a key SME function for queries in respect of investment assets or investment data. The team operates on behalf of all Aviva markets and Group/Plc but with the primary focus and services being aligned to the UK & Ireland markets.

What will you be doing?
  • The main area of focus of this role will be delivering change initiatives as prioritised by the Investment Reporting Senior Leadership team.
  • Understanding BAU change initiatives by gathering requirements and working with the relevant parties (internal & external) to fully implement the change initiative.
  • Working with external software support company to ensure new change initiatives requirements are fully documented, tested where possible and successfully working in BAU systems / processes.
  • Supporting other change delivery team members by reviewing new pipeline AAO illiquid assets against the current end-to-end operating model in place within the team and its external vendors and ensuring the new asset can be supported operationally with a view to Financial Reporting.
  • Presenting the operational feasibility of new illiquid assets, with clear communication of issues/challenges. Ensuring the new assets structures are fully understood and can be reported, gathering all data points that support the new asset to ensure all stakeholder reporting can be achieved.
  • Providing detailed requirements to stakeholders ensuring they meet expectations, working closely with the business teams updating progress on each project deliverable throughout the change delivery timeline through to implementation.
  • Providing assessment on whether new assets are supportable by the operating model in place.
  • Ensuring change initiatives are suitably planned and can be delivered in line with stakeholder requirements.
  • Making decisions on what is workable considering the balance of operational feasibility vs the commercial benefit.
  • Agreeing change run books and timings
  • Providing evidence that change has been delivered successfully

What we're looking for?

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience working in finance or project management

  • Good background of working on Finance related projects, working from a change delivery / project management role
