Our Business Development team is a client-facing business unit for servicing Life and Health insurers in the versatile, exciting and highly-developed geographical area of Continental Europe, in particular our home market Germany. The team is responsible for developing new primary insurance products together with and for our clients, managing strategic business initiatives and driving innovation and trend topics in Life and Health insurance.

To complement our team we are looking for you, an enthusiastic and motivated individual who wants to contribute to the success of the themes and the unit.

YOUR JOB
  • Developing innovative Life, Disability and Health insurance products within our region
  • Analyzing biometric market and client data in order to improve product terms and generate new business ideas
  • Pricing and assessing Life, Disability and Health protection products according to traditional and new risk factors
  • Tailoring and optimizing products and pricings to fit them to markets, target groups, benefit triggers, terms and conditions, sales channels and marketing approaches
  • Maintaining a network of insurance contacts in relevant markets (incl. actuaries, product managers and reinsurance managers of our cedents, brokers, rating agencies, etc.)
  • Supporting Client Management in their sales and marketing activities (product pitches, market events, Munich Re events, marketing material)
  • Managing projects across teams within the business unit of Life/Health


YOUR PROFILE
  • Degree in Mathematics or Economics with an actuarial background, ideally with experience in Life or Health (re-)insurance
  • Outstanding analytical, methodical and conceptual skills together with working highly creative, solution-oriented and with the ability to "think out of the box" even under time pressure
  • High level of commitment, team spirit and an integrative personality
  • Excellent written and spoken language proficiency in English and German; additional European languages (French/Dutch) would be of advantage
  • Professional in Office tools
  • Willingness to travel
