Our Financial Risk Managementpractice focuses on providing key Financial Services industry players with solutions that help business adjust to rapidly changing regulatory and market conditions by implementation of new standards, automation of business and re-engineering of internal processes.

Now we are looking for an Actuary to join our FRM team in Almaty / Astana.

Purpose of work:
  • Consulting and participation in projects on IFRS17 and audit of actuarial calculations as required by the standard.
  • Advising on security issues of the National Bank of Kazakhstan and the Agency on issues related to actuarial calculations.
Requirements:
  • Higher education in the field of actuarial calculations / statistics / mathematics / economics / finance;
  • Experience in the actuarial field (calculation of reserves, calculation of insurance rates) - 1-5 years;
  • Experience in consulting or auditing actuarial services is an advantage;
  • Kazakh actuarial license is welcome;
  • Application of mathematical and statistical methods to business problems;
  • Actuarial and financial risk modeling;
  • Proposed acquisition of Microsoft office, specifically Excel, Word;
  • Managing junior staff and building relationships with clients.
