Description of the Position:

This rotation provides key support for the Spectrum Actuarial team's goals and initiatives and offers opportunities for exposure to a wide range of actuarial work and interactions with various business partners, including Product/Line of Business, Product Management, Underwriting, Reserving, Small Commercial Territory Actuarial, Data Science, and others, to drive continued innovation and the successful performance of our flagship BOP product. The team's responsibilities include class plan development and maintenance, rate execution, new coverage development, product monitoring, and loss ratio planning, along with the supporting analyses underlying these activities. Spectrum rotational roles provide key support to all these processes, and each rotation will be tailored toward the candidate's development goals while meeting the needs of the business, and can adapt over time as the candidate and the business environment evolve.

Compensation

The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions in the external market. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of The Hartford's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition. The annualized base pay range for this role is:

$70,400 - $105,600
