About the Role

This position in AIA Public Takaful is responsible to:
-To support in Capital and Surplus Management.
-To carry out monthly TOSS reporting and involve in the development of new RBC reporting.
-To perform experience study analysis.

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Strategic Asset Allocation (SAA) research and underwriting excess distribution.
  • Participated in the development of new RBC framework reporting and perform monthly TOSS reporting.
  • Conduct an annual mortality research to support assumption formulation and monthly monitoring of medical loss ratio and underwriting surplus for respective risk funds, providing insights to relevant partners.
  • Analyze the sources of surplus for the Takaful Operator Fund, including sensitivity analysis.
  • Perform other tasks and duties as given by the supervisor on a regular basis to meet operational and/or other needs.


Min Job Requirements

Education : Tertiary qualification in Actuarial Science

Work Experience : At least 4 years of actuarial valuation experience

General Requirements :
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Associate or close to Associate of SOA/IFOA
  • Must have knowledge and experience using Prophet, Microsoft Visual Foxpro and Microsoft Excel
