About the Role

Responsible for IFRS17 analysis and China GAAP analysis
Assist team leader in preparing various financial analysis and forecast according to management requirements

Roles and Responsibilities:

IFRS17 Analysis
  • Responsible for monthly IFRS17 analysis and provide high quality results to local management and group related function.
  • Proactively improve IFRS17 analysis framework to provide insightful supporting for management decisions.
  • Coordinate the finance part of IFRS17 profit projection and co-work with actuarial on overall result.

China GAAP analysis
  • Improve China GAAP analysis capability and provide comprehensive analysis to management on monthly basis.
  • Improve China GAAP profit projection capability, including rolling forecast, actual vs forecast comparison analysis, etc.
  • Build up cross-GAAP analysis capability to assess full scope financial impact.

Others
  • Provide financial impact analysis to company's new initiatives.
  • Other ad hoc jobs.


Minimum Job Requirements:
  • A bachelor's degree or above with major in Finance or Accounting, CPA or ACCA is an advantage
  • Validated knowledge with accounting, reporting and financial analysis, at least 7 years life insurance related experiences, auditor of big four or outstanding consulting form is an advantage.
  • Familiar with IFRS17 and China GAAP
  • Proficient presentation and communication skills in English and mandarin
  • Proactive and a problem solver with strong analytical and communication capability in a fast paced industry
  • Proficiencies: Working across boundaries, Communication, Planning and Organizing, Problem Solving, Business Insight.
  • Fast learner, proactive and motivated with integrity, trustworthy.
