Job Description:
  • Lead the month-end financial planning and analysis process (including expense allocation, financials analysis and MIS submission) and to deliver accurate and timely management reports to key stakeholders including senior management and Regional office.
  • Perform analysis to understand the drivers of our financials (including Sales, Expenses, Expense Gap, VNB, CSM and Earnings) to support business decisions and derive business insights on the Life and Health ("L&H") business performance.
  • Lead annual Expense Budget & Expense Study and drive annual Business Plan, Strategic Plan and quarterly Reforecast processes and provide analysis on variances against budget, reforecast and industry market players.
  • Develop management presentations (including monthly financials update, business review update and Board of Directors' paper, etc.) upon management's request, and perform ad hoc projects where appropriate.
  • Act as Business Partner and collaborate across different business functions (including Distribution Channels, Actuarial, Product Pricing, Marketing, L&H Operations, Human Resources and Information Technology, etc.) to drive strategic initiatives and provide financial guidance & share finance expertise.
  • Provide ongoing guidance & coaching to Strategic Finance team and ensure the assigned tasks will be completed on a complete, accurate and timely manner.


Job Requirement:
  • Bachelor Degree in Finance or Accounting, qualified accountant (CPA) or equivalent
  • Min 8-10 years working experience in finance function
  • Financial planning/ management reporting experience in Insurance industry is highly preferred
  • Excellent problem solving and data analytical skills
  • Strong stakeholders' management and communication skills
  • Independent and able to make decision
  • Strong coaching skills to lead Strategic Finance team
