You will join a talented team of specialized pharmacy benefit management industry experts, clinicians, actuaries, engineers and technology experts managing the overall service and operational relationship of assigned accounts.

The Client Engagement Business Analyst will work on all financial aspects of product and service delivery including RFP/procurement modeling, assumptions and forecasting projects, budgets and cost estimates, market-check analysis modeling, assumptions and forecasting projects, analytic reporting, and various other types of financial modeling.

Essential Duties and Functions: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Develop data analyses and financial forecasts
  • Maintain and update excel savings forecast model for prospects and
  • renewal/market check/RFPs including formulas, 'programming', input of data including various adjustments/exclusions, calculations including various adjustments/exclusions and outputs
  • Budget forecasting and rate-setting for clients
  • Financial Reconciliations of client invoicing based on Statement of Work
  • Rebate estimation and analysis
  • Provide actuarial review of financial reports, savings estimates, forecasts, and other financial analyses before they are shared with clients
  • Collaborate with and support the Financial Analysis Team with their projects. This could include either the completion or peer review of renewal/market check/RFPs
  • Responsible for the documentation of all key agreements, deliverables and client correspondence

Qualifications:

Required:
  • Education: Actuarial Science, mathematics, statistics or related field
  • 3+ years experience with Pharmaceutical, healthcare, and/or medical data
  • Strong understanding of Excel, as well as data retrieval and querying skills
  • Very good written and verbal communication skills.


Preferred:
  • Knowledge of both Pharmacy and Medical data
  • Broad understanding of business intelligence, reporting and statistics a plus
  • Hands on knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Alteryx.
