Description
About the Role Quarterly reserves analysis for Americas P&C business. Work on end-to-end reserving for designated lines of business and gain insights into the underlying business and markets. Reporting of quarterly results to senior management and the Reserve Committee Estimation of payment patterns Preparation of materials in respect of statutory reporting requirements (e.g. Schedule P analysis) for different legal entities of Swiss Re Support various ongoing and ad-hoc initiatives such as improvements to existing tools and processes, portfolio costing deep dives and pricing feedback. About the Team The Actuarial Reserving P&C Re team for Americas is part of the Global Actuarial Reserving P&C Re Unit which is responsible for reserving, commutation pricing, statutory reporting, IFRS17 reporting/implementation and data analytics for actuarial analysis. About You Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Physics or equivalent field 4+ years of experience in the P&C actuarial domain Sound mathematical and actuarial background, actively working towards the attainment of an actuarial qualification Ability to work independently, accurately and deliver within timelines Strong data organization and analytical skills Excellent oral and written communication skills Excellent knowledge of insurance accounting principles Experience in any programming language (VBA, R, Python) and visualization tools (like PowerBI, Tableau) is an advantage.
