Job role

The Actuarial Service Center has proved its financial expertise in the Allianz world by:
  • Analyzing, optimizing and creating financial models that form the basis of insurance products;
  • Providing thorough clustering and analyses of complex portfolio data;
  • Performing data analytics for Allianz Group top players.


What you will do

  • Refine IFRS17 actuarial methodology (Life and GI where relevant) and address any potential challenges
  • Support regular IFRS17 closing processes by providing actuarial insight into IFRS Life results to contribute to the performance story building
  • Implement methodology bridges between SII and IFRS17
  • Ensure alignment and reconciliation between the technical unit, actuarial and accounting view of Life results, including reconciliations and definition of accounting events
  • Contribute to the review and production of Life external disclosure tables (including supplementary information for IFRS 17 and IFRS9)
  • Responsible for the consolidation and communication as part of the results review process as well as on the completeness and accuracy of Life Reporting
  • Contribute to the development of your peers's technical acumen
  • Develop strategies to solve complex technical challenges
  • Analyze portfolio behavior under market developments
  • Support in the assumptions review based on portfolio experience


What you bring

  • Real experience of validating SII and IFRS17 valuation engine output
  • 4-6 years of experience in life insurance / finance,
  • Masters' degree in Economics/ Mathematics /Actuarial Sciences,
  • Willing to study towards the UK IFoA (certification is a plus)
  • Programming experience in different tools (SAS, C++, Python)
  • Advanced user of MS Office tools (Excel, Word, Access)
  • English (French as a plus)
