What you will do

  • Support the client Risk Management team in various activities in the Life & Health/ Property & Casualty Underwriting (PC UW) area on AZ Group level.
  • Support in performing quarterly closing activities and controls in the Internal Model & Standard Model capital framework for Life & Health/PC Underwriting risk at AZ Group level.
  • Support in reporting quarterly and annual Solvency Capital positions to Regulator, internal Committees and Boards, with dedicated presentation supports (PPT, Excel templates, analysis) including special analyses.
  • Contribute to maintaining and developing the internal risk model (i.e. assuring consistency with Solvency II and standard model, providing support to colleagues from AZ Group and Allianz entities worldwide)
  • Identify and implement improvements in processes and tools in order to simplify them
  • Provide timely, efficient and professional service delivery to stakeholders
  • Build and maintain strong relationships externally and internally with colleagues, providing support and insight on risk topics


You have

  • Master's degree in Insurance, Finance, Economics, Statistics or Actuarial Sciences
  • Experience in insurance/finance area with focus on risk management/financial analysis/controlling
  • MS Office, including Outlook, Word and PowerPoint skills, advanced level in Excel
  • Programming (e.g. R, Python and VBA) as well as Data visualization (e.g. PowerBI) experience is a plus
  • Fluent English (written and spoken)
  • Willingness to study towards UK IFoA actuarial certification.
