Join an analytics team within the Property & Casualty Claims department made up of actuarial, business intelligence and data professionals. In this position you will primarily focus on estimating ultimate losses for catastrophic storms and will participate in other projects as assigned. The role includes frequent collaboration with the U.S. and International Property Claims teams. Successful candidates will be comfortable interacting with senior leaders, technically strong and will enhance our capabilities to make data driven decisions and recommendations in this non-traditional actuarial role. For candidates still pursuing actuarial exams, you can participate in our Actuarial Education Program which provides competitive study support and exam raises as you grow your skills. This position enjoys a hybrid work schedule that consists of one day per week in one of our CNA location offices with the option to work the remainder of your week remotely. #LI-KP1 #LI-Hybrid In New York/California, the average base pay range for a Senior Actuarial Consultant is $143,500 to $179,500. Salary determinations are based on various factors, including but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location. In certain jurisdictions, CNA is legally required to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation for this role. In California, Colorado, Connecticut, New York and Washington, the national base pay range for this job level is $71,000 to $133,000 annually. Salary determinations are based on various factors, including but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location.
