Job Description

  1. PURPOSE

This is an internship aimed at providing an opportunity for a student in a related degree program to work within company operations first-hand with the goal of career development. They will apply skills related to the concepts, principles, and methodologies of their associated major. This internship will exposure the student to projects and assignments where they can apply knowledge and higher order thinking skills (critical thinking, analysis, synthesis, evaluation, complex problem solving) to real world situations.

The intern will have a detailed work plan provided by the division outlining the project, assignments and overview of the planned timeframe of the internship.

Experience
  • Entry level position. Prior work experience not necessary.

  • Good inter-personal skills
  • Good customer service skills
  • Good PC skills, with an emphasis on Microsoft Office Suite
  • Must be a self-starter with an ability to learn
