We are looking for a Group Insurance Advisor to join our team in our Montreal or Quebec office!

As a Group Insurance Advisor, you will be responsible for handling and servicing complex and/or large client accounts. You will also be responsible of managing various group insurance projects.

Your day as a Group Insurance Advisor:

Consulting Services (70%):

  • Provide advice to complex and/or large clients, including analysis of financial results and renewals, preparation of reports and letters and any other group insurance related projects.
  • Maintain a privileged relationship with clients.
  • Manage and coordinate various projects related to the firm's operations and client services.
  • Supervise the work of analysts and participate in the training of analysts and client service managers.
  • Keep abreast of legislative changes in human resources and employee benefits, CRA tax rules, developments/trends in the group insurance industry and industry best practices.


Business Development (30%):

  • Initiate business development activities.
  • Analyze the situation of potential clients and develop a diagnosis of plan conditions, plan summary and service offering.
  • Prepare various business development documents such as proposals, presentations and/or reports.
  • Meet with potential clients to present our group insurance consulting services.


Our ideal candidate

  • 10 years of experience in group insurance or relevant consulting experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance or business administration or actuarial science; or equivalent years of work experience in a relevant industry.
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel and good knowledge of Word & Power Point.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, critical thinking and positive attitude.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in French and English.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a demanding work environment.
  • Ability to lead a team and work independently and as part of a team.
