Description
Who are we? We are a dynamic and international team which builds our own "Sagrada Familia": the Group data platform which will be the single source of truth for all Finance and Risk data. The data platform will be the pillar under our ambitious Finance and Risk roadmap for the coming years and key in our road towards a digitalized Finance organization. Context: As of 2023 insurance reporting standards changed to IFRS17 and the Line Organization took from the project team the full ownership and lead in the runs and execution of the reporting process, the focus being shifted from operational readiness to operational excellence. In addition, other programs in Group Finance Roadmap which leverage on the data platform are getting up to speed and require functional development going forward. This changed focus and increased complexity because of the different tracks, brings along new challenges for the testing team. For this reason the role of the Actuarial Test Engineer within our DevOps is currently needed in the team. We are looking for a colleague to help us to manage the complete testing cycles across initiatives included in IFRS17 central chain. You will be responsible for translation of functional requirements into test design, maintenance of test tools, creation of test sets, validation of the test model, and analysis of test results in the IFRS17 central chain. As Actuarial Test engineer, you will work with colleagues in the FSC, CIO, other Group Finance teams, the business units and the colleagues in the IFRS program. Main responsibilities of the role are: Create test scenarios from increments in functional requirements Collaborate with Devops teams and Business experts in design, execution, and analysis phase Maintain and update test tools (Excel/VBA and Python) Translate test scenarios into updated test sets for the central IFRS17 chain Validate the test model (Simulation model) vs functional requirements Analyze results from the central chain Experience & Background Requirements: Technical Bachelor's or Master's degree with minimum 3 years relevant working experience; Experience in test engineering; Knowledge of IFRS17; Experience with Excel/VBA; Experience in Agile (Scrum) and DevOps way of working Strong plus: Experience and knowledge of accounting standards such as IFRS 17 You have experience with CD/CI and test automation; Exposure working in a Microsoft Azure Data Platform environment You have experience with Python; Experience in working with complex systems applications chain Abilities: Proactive, curious and capable to independently take charge of your responsibilities.
