  • Demonstrated Expertise ("DE") developing quantitative models to predict real time trades for fixed-income products - using SQL (to retrieve and process real time trading data) and Python (to build up statistical features and train Machine Learning (ML) models); implementing complex risk metrics to measure market volatility and model performance; and constructing parallel calculation algorithms to speed up data preparation, model fitting, and prediction steps using Python.
  • DE building daily batch run jobs to load, process, and store data into production databases from various internal data sources in SQL; designing database tables by establishing table columns, primary/non-primary keys, and views and stored procedures using SQL; and constructing Steps of Dependency inside a data pipeline and monitoring job run status using SQL and VisualCron.
  • DE validating quantitative models by building test cases in multiple scenarios and verifying model parameters against existing documents; establishing and configuring reasonable assumptions in each testing case; and verifying model updates by running regression testing.
  • DE developing and researching portfolio risk analytic metrics on fixed income products - using Python and R; and building portfolio level assumptions on a pool of assets (correlation, covariance, volatility, and industry classification of assets) using Python.
