ABOUT THE ROLE

Evaluates, develops, and keeps assigned products in compliance with established local and federal regulations, while developing competitive advantage aligned with corporate objectives, focused on implementing and identifying operational risks. Responsible for defining cross-functional work plans aimed at achieving strategic goals and conducts cross-functional assessments to identify key tasks and requirements. Identify and support both internal and external sources in the development, implementation and launch of new or enhanced products and services for the assigned line of business. Must contribute defined growth and support revenue and profitability goals.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

This role involves coordinating and performing comprehensive analyses, including regulatory compliance, clinical and financial impact assessments, competitor analysis, and market research insights, to support new product planning, present findings to senior management, and develop materials adhering to regulatory requirements for successful product deployment.
  • Perform analysis of new and modified regulations, coordinate clinical impact, and financial impact with actuarial teams and financial teams, as well as any administration impact or new administration requirements needed to comply with delegated regulation.
  • Coordinate with supervisor new product planning and present this for approval to the organization's senior management.
  • Analyze current competitors for all segments in which the company participates.
  • Apply insight and innovation opportunities identified through market research and intelligence for product development.
  • Present concrete data, findings, and recommendations for decisions to senior management.
  • Prepare and deploy thorough presentations and supporting written materials all assigned product strategies to operational areas to initiate go to market strategies for new or existing products or services.
  • Organize and provide information to actuarial or underwriting teams relevant data regarding utilization, benefit descriptions, key assumptions regarding benefit design, and specific statistics necessary for the proper pricing iteration exercises. Coordinate sales team membership forecasts necessary for pricing iterations.
  • Research delegated issues related to public policies, market trends, employer group requests, new services, or any other topic determined by the supervisor.
  • Develop mandated materials for assigned products in a timely fashion to be used during enrollment periods, sales orientations, and proposal presentation and these must follow compliance, or regulatory requirements dictated by the applicable regulator.
  • When applicable, execute submissions to regulatory entities for new products or changes to existing products and continue the established process until approval is received.

Operational Strategy Support
  • Develop and coordinate with cross-functional teams all aspects of feasibility studies to support new product/product enhancements.
  • Write, edit, validate, and translate product, implementation, and/or marketing documents and presentations as required.
  • Collaborate with Marketing team in all analysis regarding new or existing products or services and marketing of existing products and support in advertising efforts of products or market segments.
  • Develops and coordinates the implementation of new or enhanced products for Triple-S Salud lines of business with key operational areas such as configuration department, sales, retention, actuarial, and others through a defined workplan following company's standard operating procedures.
  • Coordinate and submit required coding of benefit for configuration requests, benefit change requests & initial benefits configurations.
  • Coding and specific operational details must be defined in collaboration with Enrollment, Claims, Medical Policy, Contracting, Benefits Configuration, or others.
  • Review and edit training materials for all operational areas to ensure thorough understanding of the products so customers and prospects orientations are correct.

Administrative
  • Maintain the market intelligence database of the assigned segment/product. Maintain product log of assigned health insurance products and services. Maintain all products registered in applicable platforms depending on the assigned line of business (Federal, commercial, CMS, ASES, URAC, other).

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with a major in Marketing, Human Resources, Finance, Management, Communications, Office Systems or a Degree in Health Administration or related field with one to three (3) years of related experience in sales, customer service, product development, proposals, compliance working with enterprise wide cross functional teams.
