Description

In this role, you will be part of the CGHB Europe Underwriting / Actuarial team based in Glasgow. You will bring analytical capabilities to the team by optimizing the current processes and developing analytical solutions to support the decision making process requiring the development of a detailed understanding of KPI's and specificities of both international and domestic businesses.

Main Duties / Responsibilities
  • Underwriting & Actuarial processes - optimization & efficiencies
  • Risk appetite on Underwriting & Actuarial
  • Design and implement new data analysis solutions on Alteryx, Visual Basic and Business Objects.
  • Oversee the deployment of data to the data warehouse and propose enhancements (at department and organization level)
  • Manage specific underwriting requests in terms of data (drill-down)


Scope and Dimensions

Report to Underwriting / Actuarial Manager. Includes a knowledge and understanding of all aspects of the business. Requires co-ordination and integration with every department including:
  • Actuarial
