This position monitors emerging product trends and innovation via secondary research. The person in this role is responsible for gathering and organizing market and competitor product information to be used to help inform Network Health's marketing and product development strategies.This position uses a variety of secondary research methods and tools to gather and organize competitor data and reporting and supports ongoing activity or ad hoc requests. Interprets data, identifies trends, establish/utilizes market data and organizes the information for marketing and company leadership in a clear, concise and useful format. Collaborates with stakeholders to create, support and enhance products and services for all lines of business.

This is an up to 30 hour a week internship will start in June through mid-August with the option to extend for the right intern. Working location for this position will be in the office in Menasha, WI or Brookfield, WI with hybrid flexibility.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist with product lifecycle development initiatives including but not limited to secondary research to support plan design, marketing, communications and policy documents.
    • Assist with research, development, implementation and completion of existing product updates, new product launches, and special projects as requested by various internal departments, or in support of requests from regulatory agencies, contracting agencies or other external organizations.
    • Collaborate with department peers during product design process and provide support as needed during product implementation.
    • Assist in the development of reports about the performance of products and suggest possible improvements, by reading reports and reviews and conducting secondary market research.
    • Recommend original and productive ideas using critical thinking.
    • Document process used in transforming raw data to meaningful information. This will provide the organization with a fully defined report, an analysis of the results, and the process used to create the information.
    • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.


Internship Qualifications:

  • Pursuing a Bachelors or Associates degree in Communications, Business/Marketing, Data Science or Analytics/Actuarial Science, Risk Management/Insurance.
  • Currently enrolled in and pursuing a bachelor's or associate degree from an accredited college or university
