Become a part of our caring community and help us put health first The Financial Analytics Professional 2 manages data to support and influence decisions on day-to-day operations, strategic planning and specific business performance issues. The Financial Analytics Professional 2 work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action. This job is within the Medicare Risk Adjustment Finance department. This department is a combination of finance, actuarial, and technical professionals that collaborate to project future member risk scores, a key measurement of member health and predicted cost, project future revenue as a result of risk adjustment, and communicate these projections to other departments and senior leadership. As part of this team you will play a key role in the valuation of risk adjustment programs. These programs are an integral part of Humana's business model and directly impact earnings per share. While performing this role you'll be utilizing a combination of SQL, Excel, and Power-BI and other multi-dimensional databases for both ETL and analysis of Humana's risk adjustment data. As you grow into the role you'll be given latitude to propose and apply process enhancements, rebuild existing processes, or create entirely new processes as we work towards a more stable and robust valuation workflow. Associates in this position are expected to make decisions regarding their own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situation requiring minimal direction.
